Oneida Community Project
This project was completed by a small group of Sweet Briar students for the course RELG 451: Research Seminar in the Study of Religion. We used the microfilm copies of Oneida's weekly newspaper, The Circular (in later years it was renamed The American Socialist) and selected articles of interest. They were first scanned to a computer and then edited and cleaned using Adobe Photoshop CS3. They are indexed by subject and keywords and are downloadable as PDF files.
The articles hosted here are for public use.
